MARKETING SPECIALIST
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the development and implementation of all marketing activities, including the marketing strategy for the business.
Essential Job Functions:
- Efficiently and accurately develop key marketing programs and execute those programs to support the company’s mission and vision, including planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Conceptualize, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing strategies in support of the strategic goals
- Plan and implement public relations programs
- Develop and implement media planning, buying, and innovation strategies
- Create and manage digital content on social media channels including, but not limited to: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Superior’s website, etc.
- Recommend, implement, and maintain website design and operation
- Coordinate trade shows (e.g. press kits, preparing booths & reserving accommodations for all attendees)
- Develop and manage the dealer on-boarding process and manage communications
- Work closely and support the sales teams by providing appropriate marketing strategies and tools
- Enforce brand-marketing guidelines in trademarks, logos, and all promotional items
- Plan, develop, organize, write, and edit owner’s and parts manuals, instruction sheets, inserts, service bulletins and other technical documentation (both electronic and hard copy)
- Create and manage marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic
- Manage external vendors used as needed to execute marketing activities
- Perform assigned tasks to time standards and quality expectations
- Maintain professional, respectful relationships with internal and external customers
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations
- Assist other staff to get job done, as well as other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related discipline preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience marketing experience preferred; agriculture industry preferred
- Must be proficient in Adobe software (specifically Adobe InDesign) and Microsoft Office products
- Writing, problem solving, decision making and research skills
- Ability to multi-task, handle multiple priorities and work in a repetitive and fast-paced environment
- Must possess strong organizational skills, as well as excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
