REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and marketing sales within their region (Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky) by providing high level customer service to new and existing clientele.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Effectively develop, manage, & market sales relationships to achieve quality, pricing, & volume objectives
  • Provide customer service support to dealers and customers via telephone, electronically or in person to resolve complaints and order issues
  • Advise and assist dealers and customers by providing detailed information of our new & existing products
  • Become an expert in our products and services offered, as well as inventory currently available
  • Complete and process all sales and finance transactions accurately; meeting, or exceeding sales targets
  • Communicate and review problem areas and customer issues and follow through with dealers
  • Execute all sales transactions promptly and accurately and present to customers in a timely manner
  • Develop and execute sales presentations and participate in industry tradeshows and company events
  • Collaborate with leadership team to help identify sales opportunities and strategies
  • Resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Create sales quotes for proposals on projects
  • Identify labor, material, shipping, and time requirements based on specifications gathered from dealers, customers, and internal sources
  • Prepare site design/layout drawings to support quotations using drafting software
  • Interact with dealers, sales, and production personnel to ensure quotes and project proposals are complete, accurate and are provided in a timely manner
  • Track quotes and provide the necessary support and follow up until project is awarded
  • Participate in preparation of pricing/forecasts for products and services
  • Maintain and hand in all paperwork, such as expense reports and other documents in a timely manner
  • Perform assigned tasks to time standards and quality expectations
  • Maintain professional, respectful relationships with internal and external customers
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regs
  • Assist other team members to get job done, as well as other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ag equipment sales preferred
  • Computer skills (e.g. Microsoft: Excel, Word & Outlook) preferred
  • Ability to travel routinely
  • Ability to multi-task, handle multiple priorities and work in a repetitive and fast-paced environment
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
  • Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team

Physical Demands:

  • Routinely sitting, walking, standing, reaching, bending, and handling, frequently required to use repetitive motion, and occasionally required to lift to 20 pounds
