AG DIRECT SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The AG Direct Sales Representative is responsible for the direct sales of Superior’s grain equipment products in a designated sales region (SD,NE,IA), providing stellar customer service to new and existing clientele.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Strategically promote and direct sell Superior’s products to new and existing customers
  • Make routine in-person and sales calls to farm businesses in your designated sales region
  • Become an expert in Superior’s products and services offered
  • Complete all sales’ proposals accurately and present to customers in a timely manner
  • Continually communicate with existing customers, providing them with our new and existing products
  • Resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build strong professional relationships and establish trust and rapport with customers
  • Attend business networking events and trade shows in your region to accumulate new leads
  • Re-service your existing client accounts periodically and systematically
  • Collaborate with management team to help identify sales opportunities and strategies
  • Represent Superior Grain Equipment in a professional and respectful manner
  • Continually communicate with the appropriate Superior staff to comply with all policies, including invoicing, proposals, credit card statements, vehicle/license compliance, etc.
  • Routine travel to farm and commercial customers (must maintain an insurable driving record)

Qualifications:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Sales preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales preferred
  • Experience in agricultural and or grain bins a plus
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-motivator
  • Organizational and communication skills a must
  • Computer skills (e.g. Microsoft products/Excel-Word-Outlook)
