Hopper Bin Features
Build Strength
- Superior Hopper bins are built with grade 55 steel for high-strength performance and G-90 galvanization for superior corrosion resistance.
- Heavy-Duty Hardware includes 3/8″ sidewall bolts on every sheet for easier assembly and added strength.
- Standard JS500 Grade 8.2 bolts are up to 7x more corrosion-resistant than typical galvanized bolts.
- Stiffeners provide reinforced support and are designed to efficiently transfer load and maximize structural integrity.
Roof Panels
- Roof is built for snow loads up to 40 lbs per foot and rated for winds up to 105 mph
- Peak roof load options: 8,000 or 15,000 pounds
- 3.5″ rigidized roof ribs lock into a wind ring for added strength
- Corrugated flat panels with drip edges improve durability and water control
- UV-resistant roof vents with raised ridges help keep moisture out
- Continuous eave angle ensures even load distribution
